Welcome to [Background eraser, photo edit] (referred to as "we," "us," or "the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not operate any proprietary backend servers, and we do not store your original photos or edited results on any cloud infrastructure owned by us.
This Privacy Policy explains how we process your information when you use our local editing tools and our AI-powered features (provided via third-party APIs).
1. Data Processing Architecture
1.1 Local Processing and Storage (Default)
Most of your editing activities are performed directly on your iOS device.
◆ On-Device Processing: Basic image editing, filters, and adjustment logs are processed locally using your device’s hardware.
◆ No Server Retention: Since we do not have a centralized server, your original photos, metadata, and editing history remain on your device or your personal iCloud storage. We cannot access, view, or store this data.
1.2 Third-Party AI Features (Data in Transit)
To provide advanced AI capabilities, the App transmits encrypted data to industry-leading AI model providers via secure APIs.
◆ Applicable Features: AI Background Generation, AI Eraser, Text-to-Image, Image Enhancement, AI Expansion, AI Face Swap, and AI Filters.
◆ Processing Logic: Your selected photo or text prompt is sent via an encrypted channel (HTTPS) to the third-party provider for processing.
◆ Immediate Deletion: These third-party providers process the data only to fulfill your specific request. Once the result is returned to the App, the data is typically deleted from their temporary cache in accordance with their standard API data privacy policies. We do not intercept or store this data during transit.
2. Face Data Processing
Our App may process photos containing human faces when users voluntarily use certain AI-powered features, including:
• AI Face Swap
• AI Portrait Generation
• AI Avatar Generation
• AI Filters
• Other AI image editing and transformation features
What Face Data Is Processed
The App may temporarily process face images uploaded by users in order to generate the requested AI editing results.
The App does not collect, create, store, or retain biometric identifiers, facial recognition templates, facial geometry profiles, or any information used to uniquely identify an individual.
Purpose of Processing
Face images are processed solely to provide the AI functionality requested by the user, including face swapping, portrait generation, image enhancement, artistic transformations, and other image editing features.
Face images are not used for:
• Identity verification
• Facial recognition
• User identification
• User profiling
• Advertising purposes
• Behavioral tracking
• Building biometric databases
• Training artificial intelligence or machine learning models
Third-Party Processing
To provide AI image generation and editing services, uploaded images may be securely transmitted via encrypted connections to Doubao AI services provided by Beijing Volcengine Technology Co., Ltd.
Such images are processed solely for generating the output requested by the user.
The handling, storage, retention, and deletion of submitted images are governed by the privacy and data handling practices of the third-party service provider.

Data Retention
We do not store face images, biometric information, or facial recognition data on our own servers.
Data Sharing
Face images are not sold, rented, disclosed, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Face images are shared only with the authorized AI service provider necessary to perform the AI functionality requested by the user.
User Control
Users voluntarily choose whether to upload images containing human faces. Users may revoke photo access permissions at any time through iOS Settings.
Deleting the App will remove all locally stored data associated with the App from the user's device.
3. iOS Permissions and Usage
To function properly, the App requires access to the following iOS system permissions:
◆ Photo Library: Used to read photos you select for editing and to save the final results. We support the "Limited Photos Access" mode, allowing you to grant access only to specific photos.
◆ Camera: Used only when you choose to take a new photo for immediate editing within the App.
◆ App Tracking Transparency (ATT): We may use anonymous identifiers (such as IDFV) to analyze App performance and crash reports to improve user experience. We do not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
As a serverless application, the App integrates with third-party AI service providers to execute complex computations. You may refer to their respective privacy policies for details on how they handle API-submitted data:

Analytics: Apple App Analytics (Anonymous usage and crash reports).
5. Data Security
Although we do not store your data, we ensure that all communication between the App and third-party AI APIs is conducted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2/1.3) encryption to prevent data from being intercepted during transmission.
6. Your Rights and Control
◆ Data Ownership: You retain full ownership of all images created or edited using the App.
◆ Revoking Access: You can revoke Photo or Camera permissions at any time via iOS Settings -> [Background eraser, photo edit].
◆ Data Deletion: Since all data is stored locally, simply deleting the App from your device will remove all local data associated with it.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect or solicit facial data or personal information from children.
